I was curious how Earth stacked up in relative size to other heavenly bodies in the galaxy and universe. Found this very cool website: http://www.kiroastro.com/writings/perspective

I knew our planet was pretty dinky compared to the sun, but I had no idea how small our sun was compared to other stars. Wow. Freaking amazing.

And I like the fact that the website author mentioned that our sun is the ONLY star out of the billions upon billions in the universe known to support life.

Add to that that there are billions of other galaxies and trillions upon trillions of other stars and planets and one wonders how it is that GOD takes such a special interest in the goings on on a minor, and essentially irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, planet like earth?

Or maybe GOD doesn't?

Take a special interest that is...
