Lets see some sexy boat tail pics.

Hit the search for 71 Buick Riviera, then project car, then page 2. Scroll down a bit. I sold my car about 2 years ago, It was pretty sweet when I bought it. The color is verdemist (sp?) green. Yes, it was a GS version.

Costing me around $380 per year for full coverage on my new KTM adventure and also my 1700 Roadstar. I'd say shop around for insurance...

Good to see that you wear riding gear too. I picked up a Klim Badlands Pro Hi Viz jacket and some pants. I can't believe when I see some lady on the back of a bike wearing shorts, flipflops and no helmet......dumb.

At least the insurance is cheap. I got quotes for full coverage and it would have been $700 a year with $1000 deductible. I only paid ~$2500 for the bike.

Yeah, you're getting screwed. I have two Honda VTX's insured with 300-500-300 with a $500 deductible, for about 1/2 of what you are paying. Might want call State Farm.

1300 or 1800 cc models?

I'm looking at getting back on two wheels, and the VTX1800 and Roadstar Warrior are at the top of my list right now.

On topic:

When I was 21 (in 2006), I bought a 2002 Shadow 750 for $4200. I had a friend who was also 21 that bought a brand new Yamaha R6. Both of us had clean records. My insurance was $350ish per year, liability + collision; his was $3600/yr.

Sport bike (with full fairings) have higher insurance.

One of each. The 1300 is fun, but it's under powered, the 1800 is a much nicer ride all around, but it's heavy.

The top pic is a 1300C the bottom is an 1800S

Tons of info on this forum. You should be able to find any model with less than 15k miles for $5000 or less, unless it's had a bunch of aftermarket parts, and trust me, the aftermarket parts can add up in a hurry.

No kidding. I've priced them before, $500 for exh, $250 for intake, $300 for power commander, etc etc.

Can't buy anything till we close on the new place, and sell the current one, but I'm doing research now.

Edit... hehe... I'm a member on so many forums I forget sometimes which I am and am not on; apparently that was one I was already signed up for. Moar browsing time blown...
