Shot it, in the ass. Horrible shot, thought I missed but found it dead a foot into the water. There were 5 beavers on a half acre pound destroying everything. Got rid of 2 of them. This was the big mama.
I have a low water creek that the beaver try to dam up all the time. I've tried the traps, but setting up a blind and shooting them works the best for me. They come out just at dark.

I heard of a guy using his old pyrodex some pvc and cannon fuse to clear the beaver dams. I would never do such a thing cause it might not be legal.
