I have a aunt that turned 100 this year, the last, of my aunts, and uncles, on ether side. she lives alone, and takes care of herself, never learned to drive, so family take her to things like shopping, and doctor appointments. She checked into moving to assisted living, but when they ask her how much money she had in the bank, she told them it was none of their business! She is PROUD, INDEPENDENT, and planning on staying that way. She goes to bed before dark in the summer months, and gets up at 4:00 am, every day!
