Nope...............enough is enough.
Just like in the nam.
That being siad..............tihs place will fall and sometime in the not too distant future you will begin to hear that the military lost the war. Like the libs say about Nam.....the military lost the war.

Hog wash. OK, rant over.

Gawd but I hate HATE democrats.

Yep, The media, and liberals always neglected/forgot the facts of that conflict.
They have already forgot that every person in congress including Hillary, using the intel at hand that was shared equally among all, signed on to go to war with Iraq, along with the coalition.
Somehow they forget that.

I say :hellno:

You can bet if we do it, will be a cluster ****.
If I were inclined to help it wouldn't be with drones, it would be with B1s, B2s and B52s. I'd start with Mosul and tell Malaki "hold my beer and watch this". If there was a 3' x 3' piece of rubble left I'd put a JDAM on it. There would be nothing left but dust. Then I'd ask Malaki if he wanted more help...

This is how all wars should be fought. We have been trying the liberal method since the end of WWII to win the hearts and minds, while inflicting minimal casuality's. Hasn't worked worth a dam so far.

Time to kick some ass, and get on with it, or stay at home.

Maybe they forget it because it isn't true. The vote to authorize the use of force in Iraq was passed in October of 2002. Inspections were ongoing in Iraq and the intelligence was incomplete.

Listen to the floor debate that preceded the vote in the Senate. This stuff is still archived on c-span and probably on youtube as well.

"The authorization should be used only when the U.N. has determined that the Iraqis are in violation of resolution 1441" Didn't happen.

"We should go to war only in concert with our NATO allies." Didn't happen. We went to war with a coalition that mostly consisted of third world countries that cashed the checks we wrote them and contributed nothing.

Of course, voting to trust the judgment of George W. Bush has been reduced to the short hand "voted for the war." Fair enough. I hope God forgives Kerry, Clinton, Edwards et al for that tragic lapse in judgment.

In any case, to say that a vote in October 2002 to trust Bush is the same as seeing "all the intelligence" in March 2003 is simply not accurate. The intelligence was still developing. Or maybe it was not developing. Those silly incompetent inspectors were to stupid and blind to find what wasn't there.
