It's been said that when legalization of pot is on the ballot, it brings out more Dem voters to the polls.:anyone:
It could be argued that the reason Steve Largent wasn't Governor was because cock fighting was on the ballot too.

It brought out all of SW Okieland, and the Yellow Dog Dems down there in Little Dixie voted a straight ticket while they were there trying to keep chicken fights.

"Tokelahoma" That's funny right there.

. “Turns out rednecks love to smoke weed. That’s the thing about cannabis: It really bridges socio-economic gaps.”/QUOTE]

I don't know about the bridging gaps part.... but the first part is the truth for sure.

I am also hoping weed is legalized on a federal level. If the democrats are stoned maybe they will eat pizza and leave us alone.
Well... if (or more likely, "when") that happens, changes will be made to 4473 forms.

Does anyone actually think those changes will be limited to the marijuana issue?

I'm guessin' there'll be unpleasant surprises. :/

Driving down the streets in OKC there are signs in front of pot shops about every 100 feet it seems like.
And the population of the entire state is about 4 million people.
How can all these shops and growing operations hope to stay open here? Maybe pot can grown cheaper here and sold in other states?
On a practical level some of the early investors or "innovators" in every boom (technology or whatever) have only been in it for a quick buck though.
They want to get a good business started or maybe just a unique business idea (like a patent or a process that takes special raw materials), then sell out quick to somebody richer and higher up in the food chain. The initial investors may never turn a profit in some cases but they're looking to sell out for a big payday.

It damn sure did get that dim moron Henry elected.
