Vacuum Recommendation

Have a Shark ... the only thing it's done for me is teach me to detest "bagless" vacuums. Wish I had my old Kirby back ... regardless of any of the convenience or other features I haven't had any before or since that actually clean the carpet as well.

None of the bag less work as well as the regular old school bag type. They don't produce the suction and they are messy/dirty when emptying.
