To Cohiba: Bill Tilghman did die in the line of duty, but he was a rather old man at the time. His killer, Wily Lynn, died in a shootout in Marshall County, where he killed another lawman and an innocent bystander.

Yes 2 of my uncles were in town in Madill when that fight happened. They overheard Linn who was sitting on the curb turn down a ride in the ambulance with OSBI agent Crockett Long saying "I won't ride with that SOB".

My wife just wrapped up 'The Hunger Games'.

I admit, for a chick-centric book trilogy, it sounds like dudes could read it with no foul. Does anyone have experience?

The movie is basically dead on with the storyline in the book, However, The book has some details that will curl your hair. The "wolves" toward the end have an especially evil twist.

Working on the Game of Thrones series now... about 2/3 of the way through the 5th book, and looking forward to the next several in the series. :D

I got into those last spring after watching season 2 of the TV series and not being able to wait to see what happened next. I'm also about 2/3 of the way through the 5th book. Waiting for the last two books is going to drive me nuts.

I also just finished Tipping Point by Frank Clarke, about a second American Civil War started by the repeal of the Second Amendment. It's really a hardcore propaganda piece, only with a viewpoint I happen to agree with.
