Most of Newt's will go to Santorum. Santorum is such an unlikable guy, though. I mean if I had to hang out with Santourm or Newt...I'd pick Newt in a heartbeat. Ya know Newt's got funny stories.

Paul fans will sit at home and pout, or vote for Obama ( at least in numbers far greater than they would for Santorum or Romney). Paul fans are mad at the GOP.

In the general election yes, but I am talking about those that are real Republicans and in the primaries. They will split between fairly evenly Santorum and Romney. Those with a more liberal bent will support Romney and those worried about the economy will support Santorum.

A lot of Ron Paul fans will indeed vote for Obama in November. Mark it.

I kinda think this too and that is unfortunate. But it is what it is. I fear Barry is in for another term because of the joke all these guys have made of the GOP. I can't stomach one more debate where Gingrich, Santorium and Romney belittle each other and Paul just stands there and stutters, but again, it is what it is. Hope the lot of them are happy. They've done more good for Barry than any of the DemPACs that can barely raise a dime for him right now.

Spot on. As GlockToGo has so eloquently put it on many occasions, those of us that found Paul so attractive are sick of the "big biznazz" uber-religious fear mongering GOP. "Anything to beat Obama!!" is such a sad reason to vote for someone. It'd be like going out with some girl you hate just to piss of some other girl.

I hate to say this publicly, but I am actually registered as a Democrat.

Only way I get to vote in half the elections here.

Why the hell Sheriff's elections should be partisan, I can't figure.

In this case, if one of them was Ruth Bader-Ginsburg and the other was Nancy Pelosi, then yes, you're correct. :(

****, if Obama was half the anti-war candidate he, the media, and the Republicans make him out to be, I MIGHT actually consider him!!! :wink2:

I have to disagree with you on that assertion though. I am very involved in the Ron Paul campaign on the grassroots level, and have been since 4 years ago... and I don't know one Ron Paul supporter who would even dream of voting for Obama in the general election.
