so did snookie

That's comparing apples and oranges. One intelligent woman vs a stupid airhead.
Yep, you made a great comparison that is going to convince everybody your point of view is relevant.

Osama bin Ladin was a very rich man. So, by your reasoning, I should admire him?

no but she still sucks either way. And rightfully should be snubbed.

She's a quitter governor of the least populated state and cost McCain a presidency. Why anyone would want to hear what she has to say is beyond me.

I don't really care if she's heard or not, at least she doesn't suckle off our welfare state.

"Stupid airhead" is awfully harsh on Palin. I also wouldn't say snookie is smart. Way to have a relevant point of view.

You said palin 'dumbed her way to millions'. I'm just pointing the logical fallacy of equating success with intelligence.

Paris Hilton, snookie, fill in whatever celebrity you want. Financial success doesn't make palin smart nor does it make her qualified to lead this country

McCain chose Palin because everyone was "ho-hum" about his being the nominee and whether he was conservative enough. (Kinda like Romney) No matter how you feel about Sarah, Romney will have to pick someone "Palin-esque" to fire up the conservative base. (like Allen West or John Wayne's clone) If he doesn't, I predict conservatives staying home on election day and packing their bags for J.B.'s camp.

I am not belittling her experience, she did get elected, my point is that she was NOT VP material, she says some really stupid crap, she hooked onto the tea party which had potential in the beginning, but then got twisted by some really stupid people like Palin. I didn't like her then, I don't like her now, I actually like her less now. She recinded her post in the middle of a term so she could go sell books that she didn't even write (as an author I have no respect for people who have their books ghost written), AND SHE IS A MORON! She had the opportunity to be the first woman VP in the history of this country, but she blew the whole damn thing and we got stuck the obamanation. All she had to do was keep her damn mouth shut, but she couldn't do it, she just had to run her damn gob all the time saying stupid, ignorant things. She helped elect Obama, so defend her all you want but she has no business at the convention (which is a joke anyway) or in the public eye. I was extremely disappointed with McCain for choosing her, it ended his hopes for the white house.

Er, I'm thinking McCain just gave up the Pres slot to Zed. Probably the earliest concession in recent history. McCain, like Romnah, was another Pi$$poor non-conservative choice. It irks me to say this, but Palin may well have been the smartest of the four "candidates".
