So the panicked, pissed-off chick that harassed me last week for not wearing a mask could have been put at risk if I had the Wuhan?

Man, I feel even better about that incident now. Thanks for sharing the link!

Masks have never been suggested to protect you from someone else, they are to protect others from you. So, if you are wearing a mask but there are those who refuse to wear one, then you should not be surprised that you can be a mask wearer and still be infected by others who don't wear them.

So as long as there are those that are not wiling to be slightly inconvenienced by wearing a mask, there will be people who wear them that still catch it. So I'm having trouble understanding what logic you are trying to share in post #35.

That's been my take as well and that's what I was saying... So, I'm not sick; I'm not wearing a mask. I also don't wear a mask during flu season. No telling how many people I've killed... And the rest of us that's never worn a mask before. I will not wear a mask for you. Not even sorry about it.

My point is not to make people wear masks, far from. My point is that masks have been recommended to protect people from getting and transmitting COVID. However, surgical masks ARE designed to keep the wearer from contaminating someone else.

I don't disagree with any of that.

This is fact. You ought to see what surgery folks wear when they have a known Covid case. They look like spacemen.
And they don't like it - if the hospital didn't mandate all that PPE, most of them would not be suiting up like that.

40 to 60% have the China virus but don't show any symptoms or are aware they have it but can still spread it. You can also be in the early stages of the virus and not have symptoms yet, but you are still capable of spreading it.

At least that's what they have been saying to justify wearing masks.

Oh, and why do you want to kill grandma and grandpa.

Where do you get that information from ?

My son-in-law is a first provider as a firefighter/paramedic, trauma center nurse, and FEMA Texas Task Force 1 member. And he says you don't know what you are talking about.

In my most humble of opinions the mortality rate doesn't justify 95% of what we're doing as a result of COVID.

This is also the prime example as to why you need trustworthy leadership. I question their motives and don't believe good, honorable people are implementing these rules for our own good. To the contrary, they're self-serving assholes that are all the sudden stricken with being admirable humanitarians.

LOL yeah right.
