I do agree. But the AFT should come back with something within a freaking month. They just ignore many delays. And the AFT KNOWS many places will not transfer without a proceed.

Anyway, remember all the "A right delayed is a right denied" crap from MLK and the the libs used it as gospel for years? Yeah, well not with the 2nd Amendment.

No. I have actually seen LESS delays this year than I did last year. I had a delay the other day if 10 min, and another last month of about an hour. Sometimes I think it’s more of a NICS system issue than an issue with the buyer…however I have a few customers that get delayed every time.

Not gonna lie, it would suck to get delayed every time. I think after a few I'd just stick to gun shows and Armslist. I've found most of my cool stuff that way anyways.

Over the last decade, I've purchased a number of pistols from my local range. Just one time (a little over 3 years ago), my application was delayed. Actually, the range never heard from the NICS/FBI at all - my application seemed to be completely ignored. After 3 days of silence, the range - whose people know me well - simply completed the sale. Never received any official explanation or pushback... and my applications since that time have all been processed within seconds. Oh, well...

I have alwayus put my SSN in the forms. After about seems like only 30 seconds I get a pass.
My LGS told me a long time ago it wouild be delayed if I didnt put my SSN on the form. YMMV

This. LGS once told me there was like two tiers, those who get processed almost instantly and those who dont for some reason.
