An Old Man that was a logger his whole life then in his 90's told me " That if only Goodyear could make tires out of them things they would never wear out".That's like marrying a Virgin, and years later, still a virgin. Those parts are made to be used!
And that reminds me, people always say Be a Man! Don't be a Pu@@y, grow some Balls! You know what, kick someone in the balls and they're down and out of the fight. Balls are weak. But not Vaginas, those things take a pounding and come back for more. Maybe we should say Be a Man, grow a vagina, those things are stronger than the dickens. (just kidding...or not...lol)
A gun is a tool. I don't worry about setting it down on a table without a velvet cloth under it. However, I will definitely think twice about dropping mine if an officer demands it. I'll lay it down with two fingerrs but not drop it. After all, it is an XD and might discharge into a coffee table.People who think a gun is a talisman instead of a tool. I am a member of a Smith and Wesson page on Facebook. These guys freak out if their pistols get the slightest little ding, or drag line!! Good grief!! My standard response is “Shoot it and enjoy it! Scuff marks add character!”. Am I the only one who feels this way? I’m not saying abuse your firearm and be okay with it…. I’m just saying when you use and enjoy the thing it’s going to show some wear.
I agree 100 percent brother!Get off that site @Honey Badger it'll warp your brain.....stick with us.
You’ll have time someday! You’re still carving out your life man. Patience young Jedi! All things happen in their own time.Mine don’t have scratches for one reason and one reason only.
I don’t make any time to get to the range. Oops.
I agree. I respect all LEOs but I am not gonna drop a weapon. I’ll slowly bend down and place it on the ground. But I don’t think I’d be okay dropping one.A gun is a tool. I don't worry about setting it down on a table without a velvet cloth under it. However, I will definitely think twice about dropping mine if an officer demands it. I also made the mistake of buying a new non scratched AR. I wanted a well broken in shooter but this was all that was available at the time.
I would trade straight across for just such a beast. Something I could throw in the truck and not have to wrap It in bubble wrap.
