I keep hearing the Jeopardy theme song in my head every time I think of what stage my license might be in or whose desk my paperwork could be on. The waiting is sheer MADNESS!!!!

62 days so far but I might not have a Pistol when It arrives. Today I sent my Slide off to Glock to be re-finished, so the wait is no longer killing me. 6-8 weeks for it to return to me.

Found this on an OSBI website yesterday. I guess they restart the 90 day clock if you have to resubmit prints or provide additional information.

**********
NOTICE:
The County Sheriff’s office has 14 days to complete a local background check from the time the Initial Application is submitted. The application is forwarded to the OSBI AFTER the local search is complete.

Per Oklahoma State Statue, the OSBI has 90 days to process an application from the day all required information is received by the OSBI. This includes a good set of fingerprint cards.

If it has been more than 115 days since the application was submitted to the County Sheriff’s Office and you would like to know the status of your application please e-mail your request to the OSBI by clicking the link below.

My wife and I were fingerprinted and left our application at the sheriff's office on Feb 17. OSBI goofed and mailed my wife's direct to us last Friday. Myself and 2 others that applied the same day picked ours up at the Sheriff's office today.... May 1.

Thanks Victor, kinda stupid how they have 90 days yet they ask you to wait 115 before you contact them.

Seems kind of odd. Their time along with the sheriff's time equals 104 days unless they figure an addtional 11 days for snail mail. I had to re-submit prints once so I don't know where I stand in the process timewise. Just glad I opted for the 10 year license.

osbi charged my acct finally. guess that could be a good sign. 25 days and counting.

keep hoping, if your lucky cause i thought that too... mailed mine off 1st week of feb, they charged my acct on feb 20th. i just got my certified letter notice in the po box april 30th. funny thing is the license and letter dated april 14th. so it took 2wks to get to norman. FYI the re-issue licenses go directly to the person and not the sheriff.
