Just got back from the 4-Corners/Telluride, Durango, Cortez, Co. area.

I didn't notice it at all in Cortez, Dolores, Telluride, or Silverton but I did NOTICE it in Durango.

Durango....

Wife and I go into a pizza shop and two 25ish year old ladies were coming out the door(outside) as my wife and I go into the store. The first lady passes by me...okay.
The second one passes by me........WOW.......WHAT THE H*LL IS THAT BODY ODOR???

They were "Mountain/Durango" dressed....sandals, shorts, and tank tops...NOT really hiking clothing so I didn't think they had been camping, hiking, or fishing for a few days.

Okay...

Go into a liquor store....grab a couple of 6 packs( Tivoli-Helles Lager) and a nice looking, tan, 25ish year old with shorts and a t-shirt with tennis shoes.....stunk to high heaven???!!!

Okay...

About 15-20 minutes later my wife and I pull into a gas station to fill up the SUV. Wife is in the drivers seat and rolls down window, I get out and pump gas.

A new Range Rover pulls up on the opposite side of us using the same pump-different handle.

Lady has a tank top on, unshaved arm pits, a nice skirt, straw cowboy hat and some cowboy boots on. I DIDN'T say a word but YES I smelled it. As I got into the car my wife asked me WHAT WAS THAT B.O. smell and who was it???!!!

Am I missing something??? Is the new 2019 style in mountain towns for women to "let it go"??? Is this some sort of fashion statement??? Anyone else notice it in Mountain towns?

Thanks...... I guess.

Was in the Durango area a couple weeks ago, but only to drop off our pickup in a parking lot and jump in with friends in their Rubicon and head out for the Jeep trails above Silverton and Ouray for the day. Only had smelly people with intense BO in Santa Fe a few days later. Both men in their 20’s.

I have a guy that works for me,that comes into work with B.O. a lot. Finally after months of this, I had enough. I told him to clock out,go home and take a shower with hot water and soap, and put on fresh clothes.I also added that if he did it again I was going to fire him. He didn't understand and got upset. I said you are 34 years old,and there is no excuse for you to come into work smelling like that. It's just plain rude and nobody wants to smell your funk.
