Lawyers, yes. One big problem is seizing properties through Public Domain. There are plenty of crusty old ranchers in south Texas that would rather put up with wetbacks than have their land seized for nickles on the dollar. So Lawyers. The idea is to expedite the process by denying these people their right to a fair hearing.

Actually it is the open borders and loony left filing the vast majority of the law suits and staging protest. Most of the ranchers are backing the wall. Not all but most.

I wasn't taking about what you refer to "the Vast majority" of suits. I was talking about Eminent Domain issues. The ranchers down there don't support the wall if it means the seizure of their land. I'm not talking about snowflakes, or Hollywood liberals, I'm talking about hard working people who want to keep what's their's and won't vote for the Trump again. They'll never get their day in court, and why should they, because Trump.

Sorry but many of the ranchers do support the wall, not all true, but a lot of them. And sorry to tell you this, Trump will win in 2020.

I've said it cautiously a few times before. The republican may well win in 2020. Maybe that will be a good thing or a bad thing but nobody knows. It's increasingly improbable that Trump will be on the ballot. Not trying to provoke, offend, or piss in anyone's Post Toasties.

BTW, @RickN. Good to see you're back to your old self. There was a while there when I thought I had to be nice to you.

Nah, I just had you on ignore until the hospital thing and almost dying. Makes you remember even good arguments are important.

Seriously Trump will be on the ticket and will win. All the Dimocrats and media lap dogs are doing is firing up his base. He and the GOP collected record donations this last quarter and almost all of it from small donors.

Datgum, Rick. I never knew that our relationship had deteriorated to the point that you had me on Ignore. Ok OK. Now I know. No big deal. Just something else I have to sort out. I just never imagined you would do that to me.

What I've read is that when they use Eminent Domain to put the wall up, they are putting in gates so the landowners are not being denied access to the river or their land on the other side of the wall.

“We’re building 35 new gates along a stretch of 55 miles of existing border wall.” Vitiello said. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start in October 2018.

Along those areas, the barrier is further away from the Mexican border. The gates close gaps in the wall while permitting the U.S. Border Patrol, emergency vehicles and landowners with property on the southern side of the barrier access through an automatic gate."

Nobody wants a big rusty brown wall in their pasture or back yard, but our National Security trumps (pardon the pun) landowner rights as much as I hate to say it. I wouldn't want it on my property, but there are solutions for those getting the wall built on their property as much as cnn doesn't want you to think so.

Did not want to but that one thing really, really pissed me off. So much that it was either put you on ignore or say something that would get me banned. All of our other debates and arguments were just interesting and part of life to me, but that one pushed me over the line. Not your fault as you did not know but it was more than I could handle.
