can someone tell me where i might find just a standard 1911 slide for sale, everyone like fusion and someothers wants to sell fancy slides with different sight cuts, I just need a Standard colt slide or a CLone for a build, Please advice needed as to where to go to get a regular ole Slide for a 1911 5 inch 45

Brownells usually has STI or Caspian slides in stock. You can get one with no sight cuts or cocking serrations.

Try foster industries which is the parent company of caspian, they are caspain blems and tend to have some good stock time to time. I'd also try actually calling caspian to see how fast they could get you something, they have a pretty good CS.
Try posting in the WTB section. There's bound to be someone on here that has one laying around.
