When I was buying, the soffit vent protectors where not available for 16" centers. They are available now. You want to get the ones to fit your spacing if available. Also, even though they keep a ventilation channel open, they don't block off the space between the roof and the top of the wall. That's why I custom cut all those pieces of styrofoam and glued them to the top of the wall. Those combined with the soffit vents completely blocked off the space to the soffit so insulation didn't fall down into the soffit but the ventilation was, obviously, still kept open by the vent channel.
Has anyone used the foam blow on insulation, the stuff that sticks to your rafters and walls?
