We live in the country and have experienced young coyotes interacting with our dogs. It looked like they were playing actually. Scared the crap out of my wife.
Ours are house dogs not mean nor fighters. They never go outside without the wife or myself with them.

I shot many abandoned dogs in my youth, I don't any where coyotes.

I might have been too patient with these coyotes. My dog hasn’t ventured far at all and wants to sit in the truck. He doesn’t feel safe with them around.
