“Cerakoted” - (Nothing wrong with Cerakote. Just changing a noun into a verb).

They try to make it sound cheap or get your hopes up.

Not firearm related: From a local Tulsa area car stealership, “We don’t want to sell you a car, we want to help you BUY a car!”

My favorites for firearms are:
-Price: $400, trade: $550
-Ad: like new, only 98 rounds fired. Goes to other thread in discussions and looks at same gun: runs GREAT I’ve got over 5,000 through it since XX. Un huh.
-Here are three guns for sale, but as soon as I get my magic $, the others are off the table.
-Sale a gun. For Sell.

"Custom" (insert gun here) for sale or trade. Usually, that should really say: "Bubba'd" (insert gun here) for sale or trade.

It often refers to work involving Dremels, wood rasps, grinders, and Krylon rattle-can paint jobs. Here; these are "Custom" Glocks, obviously worth much more than what they paid for them because they are "custom" guns now.

The ones I love are the stock picture they show you and the actual pistol looks beat to hell, ummm you might have mentioned it road around in a tool box for 56 years !!
