264Mag, Im probably one of the last people my family would call to remedy a rogue cow situation so that was just a remnant of the shock. Im not an outdoors type person that is for certain.

Surely there's a couple of good cowboys in your area that could get them in a trailer so you could get them to the auction. I would think you could get rid of them quickly on Craigslist. Just make sure you say that they need to be roped and/or corralled to be put on a trailer, that would eleminate a lot of "want a be" cattle buyers.

Haul them to the sale barn and take the check. The prices are down b/c everyone is dumping their old crappy cows due to the drought. Start feeding them in a pen/corral that and leave the gate open for a week or two. Then one day shut the gate on them and have someone waiting with the trailer. No need to just kill them, you cannon take a dead cow to the butcher, they will not accept it. Thats free money walking around out there.

Or like okie said sell them and let someone else load them and mess with those crazy bovine. That momma cow looks like a head hunter she might get ya. Cattle are not scarry till they decide its time to attack, 1000 lbs of beef coming at you is pretty intense.

Looks like a couple 400 ish lbs calves and one wild ***** you have there. Better have some legit pens to get her loaded. T-posts and wire panels won't cut it with that one.

Looks like last Monday at OKC some 408lb steers brought $1.59/lb but you have at least 1 bull calf so discount him for that. The heifer will bring a tad less. You might could get $500-550 for each of the calves. The cow is older and will likely be slaughtered, she might bring $500 or so. Just a guess. Probably a little over $1,500 worth of cattle if you can get them caught and nobody lays claim to them. (Make sure that their owner abandoned them.) Wouldn't try and mess with breeding that cow too much, more problems than she is worth. If you get her on a trailer the next stop is the stockyards.

Have fun. :)
