Medicine Park is a good place to go. Go jump in Bath Lake on a hot summer day, it sure feels good.
The Old Plantation is just okay to eat at, nothing great. Don't waste your money on a steak it's not worth the price. Never eat at the Riverside Cafe, the food is terrible. The meat at Meers is pretty good, but the side dishes aren't much and standing in line for 45 minutes isn't much fun either. Ann's Cafe is a good place for breakfast and good pies. We always take a couple home with us.
It's a nice drive to the top of Mount Scott. You could spend a month at the Wildlife Refuge and not see it all. Elk Mountain is a nice place to go. Don't speed or float a stop sign on the wildlife refuge, them federal officers will nail your ass.
