On Tuesday, ABC pulled the plug on the wildly popular reboot of "Roseanne" after its namesake posted a racist and offensive tweet about former President Obama's aide and close friend Valerie Jarrett. Last week, ABC's cable sister, ESPN, announced that anti-Trump pundit Olbermann would return to the network despite a foul-mouthed Twitter account that includes countless offensive remarks directed at the president and his surrogates.
ESPN personality-turned-political commentator Britt McHenry told Fox News that "Olbermann has proven time and time again how irrationally angry, prejudiced, and outright bigoted he truly is," but none of that apparently matters to Disney executives

I wouldn't have referenced your post if it mentioned racism, you did mention baggage. The person who's offended seems to get the final say in what is a "racist" remark and what isn't anyway. The most "racist" joke I've ever heard was told to me as I was walking into Walmart Sunday afternoon, by a black man in his late 60's who standing at the door handing out the little roses/ribbons for donations for Memorial Day lol. I won't/can't repeat it here.

Very true. More and more, "society" seems to want to believe the one that is allegedly offended is believed right off the bat. In fact, there have been cases where the alleged "offender" was not even asked for their side of the story.

I've since posted several of the ABC liberal employee's that have violated the same free speech limiting contracts your talking about including Jimmy Kimmel, and Joy Reid? Have you seen the racist stuff she posts about white people and claims its russian hackers?
This gets better by the day to prove my point. The hypocrisy of the leftist socialist party is beyond belief.

How do you know they had the SAME limitations in their contracts? I wouldn’t think they would since their Shows have vastly different audiences/ purposes. Maybe they didn’t even have contracts as some have suggested lol
As far hypocrisy, there’s enough to go around on both sides. I can’t name how many shows/events have been canceled/changed because of people worked up into a conservative righteous & religious fervor. Concerts, dances, tv shows, you name it, all have been canceled “for the children.”

It’s amazing how much this conversation has changed, it went from “what she said isn’t racist,” to “her rights were violated,” to “not fair.”
