Ruger Releases DI AR-15

I was hoping for something different, so this is a disappointment for me. Does the market really need another AR? I'm a huge Ruger fan, but this one doesn't interest me in the least.

I prefer my SR556. But a cheaper rifle may be a good idea.

MSRP didn't look too bad, street price may be pretty reasonable. But I agree, there are more than enough AR-15 choices without Ruger piling on.

Seems to me like this is basically a M&P 15 Sporter with a dust cover and a forward assist.
