moron “adults” having kids is the problem. So until we have IQ based sterilization programs or restrict the freedom of individuals in this country (like they do in other SOCIALIST countries) to be stupid parents nothing will change.

If you thank that keeps gun's and knife's out of schools, you are a mistaken.
Schools have many doors that are not Guarded by security or teachers.

So they have detectors at the supposedly main entrance, but still allow people to enter via other uncontrolled doors?

No, you are not understanding. There needs to be one security guard standing beside a metal detector checking kids for guns. Kid goes in and is locked in between 2 doors and has to go past the metal detector until it quits beeping.

Keeping kids with metal objects out of schools has nothing to do with teachers and cops responding to a kid.

We need to be asking WHY so many kids are acting like this, don't you think? Until we figure that out, and correct it, all other efforts are just empty talk, and wasted time!

It is because DHS and CPS took away the ability to punish a kid and they don't know consequences. No, we don't need to find out why first, The first thing we need to do is to keep children from shooting up schools. If a person is in prison and kids are dead there is no ability to stop the crime. Kids and teachers are dead and the person who did it will probably be in prison for life.

What needs to be done is prevention. Prevent the child from getting the gun and if that fails prevent them from getting in the school.

It is partially the fault of the school for allowing bullies to beat and tease kids. Assault on a adult usually ends up with the assaulter being shot in real adult life, why shouldn't a child have the same right to defend themselves from getting beaten up. You get more protection in prison than you do in school. Politicians just give lip service to the issue of bullying. Most of them went to private school and came from families that would talk to the Dean and tell them they will take away their funding if the Dean doesn't protect George Bush.
