I had a blue heeler that was hell on coyotes , he once jump out of my Jeep at 60 mph because he saw a coyote in the pasture. He hit the ground rolling and I thought it killed him but by the time I got stopped he had caught the coyote and killed it . You hear stories about coyotes grabbing chihuahuas off leashes in the subburbs while their horrified owners watch dumbfounded. The modern world is breeding a newly emboldend coyote that'll creep up behind you in the Starbuck's and steal your coffee.
Yuppies post missing posters for their rat dogs all the time out here. I really want to make poster of a coyote with a talk bubble that just says "LOL my bad" and post it below these signs.
I like how the news does stories to make it seem like the "coyotes are moving in on developed areas". It's the other way around, Jack.
Wildlife biologists are calling them the Coywolfe.! watched a documentary on these coyotes in Canada. They said these things are getting into the 70lb weight class. They are not sure if it's cross breeding with wolves or just their getting bigger.
