Not just Wally. We don't shop there.
All stores are out of biscuits, empty for 3 weeks. Bacon way up in price. Empty shelves. Cream scarce and expensive.

Granddaughter was using Wally online, when she and hubby had Rona, a year ago.
NEVER had an order right.

I always assumed this was a main benefit of the curbside thing for the stores - let them get rid of produce and products that no one would actually buy if they were picking it themselves.

My buddy says he blames this solely on the team members picking the orders. No mandate from WalMart to push bad produce on to digital customers. He said he works with these folks everyday to work on quality control. I think a lot of it has to do with the quality of the workforce they have to chose from.

Stopped by the Sapulpa Wal Mart yesterday about 13:00 for 1 item.

A loaf of Home Pride butter top wheat bread. One of our staples.
Nary a one on the shelves. Zip. Nada. Zero.

Called the boss lady and asked her if she wanted me to try somewhere else. She said don't worry about it,
I'll make a loaf of beer bread. That's all I needed to hear!

Couple of hours later she brings me an end piece (crust) hot out of the oven with plenty of butter.

Oh Yeah! Plenty of carbs, but you gotta live sometimes!

As far as grocery prices, just ask her about it.

You will get more than an ear full :thumb:
Neither the wife nor I drink beer but we always keep some on hand. It's that bread thing. We sometimes stir in some shredded cheese before we pop it in the oven, too.

Here, but occasionally There.
What the hell is the deal with salted top saltine crackers at Walmart? There used to be a large section of shelving filled with them. It was as if no one ate them before. Now you can hardly find them anywhere. Are they made in China too?

We've noticed that since they change in laws so that Walmart and others could sell wine, the availability of shelf space for other products has suffered a lot. We were in a Walmart the other day and the soft drink in 2 liter containers was only about half of the length of the aisle. On the other side of the aisle, wine had at least 3/4 of the length if not more.

Because of such "marketing ideas," a lot of areas are affected.

Speakin' of striking out at Wally World, we went there yesterday for some shoe polish. There was one tin of it but it was the wrong color.

Woody,
In NW OKC just east of Council Road, about 150 yards, on the North side of Hefner road, there Is a shoe repair place that has a great selection of shoe polish. They also do great repairs, soles, heels, … I take all my leather repairs there. It is. True mom and pop place the wife does the customer service and the husband does the repairs.

I've wondered about the shortage on sausage. Jimmy Dean hot is about the only thing left on the shelves. Most sausage is produced in the US and not related to the supply chain issues from China.
Even though they are processed in the US, aren't the packing plants owned by Chinese companies?
