I ordered 2 bags of chips, among other items on the shopping list, off of the Sam's club website. I have received everything but the chips so far.

The chips shipped from Pennsylvania. WTH? Doesn't sound real smart to me! And the shipping is free.

Speakin' of striking out at Wally World, we went there yesterday for some shoe polish. There was one tin of it but it was the wrong color.

Good luck with those. While we were doing our Summer job, we ordered computer drives for the van's computers, and they got lost in Lenexa, KS. I don't know if the company EVER got those back. (Memphis is also a black hole for FedEx.)

Over the past month, I have asked a number of stores (Crest, Dollar Tree, WalMart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc etc etc) about shortages and empty shelves - and I received the EXACT (almost to the word, identical) same answers in every store. Employees complain bitterly about management refusing to schedule (or to simply allow) employees enough time to re-stock the shelves, even when the storerooms actually have merchandise waiting to be stocked!

That's way too many identical answers to write them off as simple coincidence.

That's Smithfield. They don't produce Jimmy Dean Sausage.

Here in Arizona, there aren't many shortages depending on the dates and events going on.
Cream cheese short before football games but in stock in a few days. Veggi's fully stocked, meat counter full.
Love shopping at Fry's. They have a beer and wine bar in the store. Park the cart, have a beer and finish shopping.
