Wide diversity. Collect it all, won’t hurt in the long run. Trade silver for ammo, ammo for silver. Ya never know.
How does one trade silver or gold for ammo and food? I've always wondered.
Does one carve off a chunk of silver or gold for a loaf of bread?
How does that work?

Fried up some Spam and had sandwiches all last week for lunch. Mmmmm pretty good eating. Hadn't eat any in awhile, it sounded good then I couldn't let it go to waste. Keep at least a case in the pantry right beside the vienna sausages.
I like fried spam, but can't get past the smell when opening the can. Smells just like canned dog food.
Vienna sausage is a staple in the backpack when deer hunting. Jalapeno and BBQ are the best.

The only precious metals I care to own are brass, copper, and lead. If everything goes to hell and a hand basket, most are not going to care about trading for gold and silver.
When I lived in Oregon I had a neighbor that had a garage wall of prep food and a big gun safe full of guns and ammo. It was there for ALL to see every time he opened his garage doors. He thought he was the most prepared guy around.
I guess he didn't know the anti preppers motto, easier to take it away than protect it.

I’m wondering where you guys with pallets of ammunition are storing it all? 10,000 rounds of 5.56, .308, 45ACP, 9MM and 22LR would be quite the pile.
I don’t have that much in most calibers. The 22lr isn’t bad. The shotgun ammo is the biggest space hog. The wife hates it.

They’re a bunch of liars. We all wanna sound tough on the internet don’t we?
Duh. I did run across an OSAer that prob had 10-20x that just in 556 just stacked on gun safes in his garage. But I doubt many on here have even close to the collection that he does.

I’ve started buying by the case. That’s a huge upswing for me. Next step, pallet load. Then dreaming big, container load. And, finally, cargo ship load. I, for once, would love someone to tell me that I have a “ship load” of ammo. And I’d be like, “yeah man, I know!”

I don't think I have ever had spam. But if it was offered to me, I would eat some.
I do remember eating Vienna sausages a lot when I was young. It's been many years since I had any. But I buy a can a few weeks ago to eat when I got out on the hunting weekend.

Anyone had this flavor? Opinions?
