Been lookin through the site for a discussion about buying and stacking gold, silver, copper, lead etc. Haven't come across one yet. I think the members could benefit from a thread that catered to stackers and collectors. What do you guys think?
You can't stack it if you ain't got it. :P

I think precious metals are a decent insurance policy, but not a great “investment” typically.

Also, whoever said brass, copper and lead aren’t precious metals has never been in a firefight. I like dual purpose precious metals.
I agree, copper, brass, lead, they are all commodities that can be traded. And I think precious metals are the best option for insurance in case of a survival situation where cash is no longer valuable.

The only precious metals I care to own are brass, copper, and lead. If everything goes to hell and a hand basket, most are not going to care about trading for gold and silver.
When I lived in Oregon I had a neighbor that had a garage wall of prep food and a big gun safe full of guns and ammo. It was there for ALL to see every time he opened his garage doors. He thought he was the most prepared guy around.
