Wow! Those prices are bad! I used to know lots of people that sold fur. Now I don’t know anyone thats putting any fur up.
my concern is the population explosion in all these animals in the near future.
Very sad!

The effect on the ground nesting birds is devastating.
We have turkey nest around us. I'm always finding egg shells broken open in the spring.
I trap coons and possums when in season but there is a never-ending supply to take the place of those caught in the traps.

That’s what I’m concerned about. You are one of the few people that are trapping them. Could see a real bad reduction in ground nesting birds in the next few years. Not to mention an increase most likely of distemper and rabies.
