Badshot Gun Show strange request today from a person in New York

Guys and Gals,
This was a strange call to say the least I received today from a lady out in New York?

She calls up and leaves me a message inquiring about my Ponca City Gun show next month on the 23rd and 24th.

She wants to know approximately how many people I think will attend this show and wants to know my attendance records from my shows last year.

She states she is doing research for her client’s gun shows?

Sounds very fishy to me or they are looking at moving from the Communist state of New York and heading our way with their gun shows?

Either way, it's not good for OK gunshows. Good for OK gunshow consumers maybe but I would say it is not in your best interest to even call her back.

Don't your shows average about 1200-1500 vendors and about 10,000 shoppers per day???? That's the story I'd stick to...

Well you clearly have me confused with other Gun show promoters I Dont do that at my shows!

i would reply opposite of big numbers.... "well it is a small local show, Fred usually brings his cardboard display of slingshot history and June usually brings her armadillo soup, thats about it 10-15 people maybe depending if the roads are dry......"
