I thought I settled this hot sauce thing years ago, but here's another chance for those of you who don't listen very well...

If you ask for hot sauce at Chick-fil-a you get Texas Pete's Hot Sauce.
Had no idea. I’ve been to Chick fil a maybe 3-4 times in the last 30 years. Good stuff just not what I want. I know Texas Pete hot sauce from a fried chicken chain called Bojangles, back in the South Carolina’s. Wallmart used to carry but it’s kind of hard to find now. I find it in Crest but not regularly.

I'm partial to Texas Pete hot sauce first then Frank's followed by Lousiana. Last on my list is Tobasco sauce - to me it's just hot with no flavor. I'd like to try some of the others listed here like Tiger, Valentina and Cholulu for comparison though. I've tried Cholulu at Mexican restaurants - just not on fried eggs.

I hear Texas Pete makes a garlic hot sauce that I'd like to try if I ever see it on the shelf.
