Favorite Pie?

Coconut cream, Key Lime, Banana Cream, just too many

Remember that old song? "Apple, peaches, pumpkin pie..." Also cherry (tart, not syrupy sweet,) lemon meringue or key lime.

An elderly neighbors Wife brought me half a chess pie some years back. I could learn to like that Ladys cooking.

Just about every flavor except mince-meat and pecan. The problem with me isn't the type of pie . . . it's the overindulgence.

Probably chilled Pumpkin, followed closely by Coconut cream for 2nd..

My grandmother's rhubarb and mincemeat.

She made her pies from scratch and nobody on the planet could match hers, crust and filling were always perfection. Grandpa once sold pies for a living and was very picky. He didn't like his pies loaded down with a boatload of sugar, he wanted to taste the fruit. Hers were to die for. My step mom can bake a good pie too.

We must of had the same grandmother lol or at least cut from the same crust

I kinda gotta thing for pecan pie, too, but only if it has vanilla ice cream, which I may NEVER eat again ... So ... Guess when Thanksgiving gets here we will see then ... Because right now the thought of vanilla ANYTHING makes me queasy.

I can only come up with a LEAST favorite. In fact I'd have to say it is in a class all by itself: Mincemeat Pie.
