(square trigger guards on 1911s just seem odd to me)

+1 on the square trigger frames.......it just doesn't look right

and congrats on the purchase........you will see the light soon if you don't see it already.......That the 1911 is the most beautiful system for delivering hot lead ever created. lol but really it is true. lol

Could be a mag problem but chances are it's the ammo. 1911s were made for ball ammo. If you take some rouge and white wheel on your dremel you can reduce this problem. Yes they are addictive....
