CO has CCW and open carry is legal in most places.
The exception is Denver which has a special status which I believe is called Home Rule. Unlike OK which has state pre-emption on just about everything CO doesn't. As a Home Rule city Denver can pretty much pass any law/ordinance it wishes even if they go against state law. Example in point - OC is illegal in Denver as are high capacity mags.

I don't have any issues with registering my firearms. We have to do it anyways on post.

I don't know exactly what you mean by that, but we have to register them ANYWAY. So I don't know where this conversation is going...
You dont HAVE to register them if you dont shoot them at the Range there ...Correct?

You have to register them if you live on post and - in case you live off post - if you want to use the range.
