You will need a CD drive, does your computer have one? If not the USB ones are pretty cheap. You can do a 21 day trial of DBPoweramp CD Ripper from here and their music converter is available for trial also, if you want to convert to something like MP3. I would suggest going with them for your software, because it contains no malware, just what you want to download. Be leery of anything on the net that says FREE, it isn't.

What is the best way to do this? I have very few records but have a bunch of cassettes and CDs I would like to play through my computer and cell phone, just don't know how to do that. Guess I'm old.

Back over 10 years ago, I used a computer program called Goldwave to digitize a bunch of my vinyl LP's. Not sure what is best for ripping CD's.
