FoxNews is running a graph produced by the vast left wing conspiracy to somehow distort the real numbers, which are not real anyway, and is all part of Murdoch's plan to discredit the GOP so that Hillary can win the White House so he can keep the sheep watching FoxNews. Simple.

You'll all be pleased to know that Fox corrected their graph on-air this morning. Or, maybe you won't. In fact, I'd be willing to guess most of you have forgotten what the OP was even about.

I fail to see what needed correcting. The numbers were right there in large type for all to see? I guess that Media Matters is running on empty.

OK, so what, 6,000,000 people signed up for health care at drastically reduced rates because they could not afford health care before. What happens if no one signs up to pay full price? Will Obamacare go under the water?

Yeah, except only something like 1/4th of the "enrollees" who've actually paid their first month's premium came from the ranks of the previously uninsured.

Media matters is flailing around about a Fox News graph in order to distract from the real train wreck.

Interesting.....

......the image provided by Hobbes shows the sources to be HHS and Media Matters, but the one at this (Media Matters) link shows the source to be CBO. Is someone playing with pictures here, or are we trying create a smokescreen?
MediaMatters watermarked the image they posted online, but they weren't the source for the graphic. That's a Fox News graphic listing HHS as the source of the data used to generate the graphic.

If MediaMatters captured every graphic that uses that same technique to exaggerate bar graphs, they'd have nothing but bar graphs on their site. Be it laziness, ignorance, or intentional misrepresentation, it's an all-too-common occurrence.
