Going through the safe and found this, 1st thought was a Garand cleaning kit but too big to go in the stock so i opened it up and this is what I found. View attachment 216703Has a green sack like the Garands but bigger diameter. I know dad gave this to me and probably told me what it was for but it's been awhile and my CRS kicked.

Looks like a vz58 cleaning kit.

Winner Winner Chicken dinner! I spent I don't know how much time searching USGI cleaning kits because the canvas sleeve looked just like the Garands. The Czechs must of like our canvas! Thank You!!
