Going through the safe and found this, 1st thought was a Garand cleaning kit but too big to go in the stock so i opened it up and this is what I found.

Has a green sack like the Garands but bigger diameter. I know dad gave this to me and probably told me what it was for but it's been awhile and my CRS kicked.

The sleeve it fit into is approx. 9"x1.5". The end of cylindrical looking thing unscrews and looks like an oil reservoir.

I was trying to gauge the cleaning brush. Looks like a shotgun brush to me.

Ive seen 50 cal chamber brushes that look similar

But my guess is a military shotgun cleaning kit

IDK but you should just bore out the back of your Garand and make it fit.

Looks like a vz58 cleaning kit.

That one piece with a split down it looks like a case extractor .
