I prefer the smoked sardines, vienna sausages, sharp cheader cheese, onions and saltines. That is a meal for me, wheather at home or on the river bank. One time I got brave and bought a large tin of sardines and tried to make a casserole. It was edible,,,,,, but I wont try that again. :>))
Okay thanks to the thread I tried Chicken of the Sea brand in mustard today. Honestly to me it tasted a little bit stronger than tuna but not a whole lot different.
It was all on Ritz, and various ways w/ cheddar, pickles, banana peppers.
I also got kippers and smoked sardines in oil for another day. Will try them with hot sauce.
Good job. We eliminated many over the last two days in ponds. Buddy was using .22 mag and I was using .22 lr.
Went back this afternoon and saw many on the bank no longer living.
