OSBI charged my card June 6. Hopefully this month. I finally got my Glock 23
today. It's my first hand gun. Chad at PCA told me that they are running right at the 90 day time frame, providing there are no fingerprint problems.

CRAP! I knew that it would happen. Today is like day 60 and I just got my rejection notice from the OSBI. Bad prints. Does anybody know, can I just drive up to the OSBI and get them scanned or do I need to make some kind of arrangement first. The letter that I recieved included new print cards and stated that I needed to return to the sheriffs office for reprinting.
Thanks.

I think it's a waste of time to go back to your sherriff's office... at least it was for me. Go up to OSBI. There is no appt process, just first come, first served. The fingerprinter is in a room right off the lobby. The receptionist can get you set up. They promise that you won't leave until they have "acceptable" prints so it gives them one less reason for foot dragging.

Mine is a renewal so there shouldn't be a fingerprint issue on mine, at least I wouldn't think so. 6 weeks for me. I don't think about it because there is a 30 day grace period after it expires. So a person has 120 days if they turn it in exactly 90 before it expires.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I'll be there tomorrow.
Thanks a bunch.

Well, I just got back from the OSBI and got my fingers scanned. It was a very pleasant experience. There were 6 people ahead of me so I only had to wait about an hour. I met some nice people including 2 nice young ladies who did the scanning. Now the wait continues.
