I hadn't heard of those.Ever heard of Jays potato chips? They’re were big in the Great Lakes region
I have not been to the Great Lakes area in a long time, probably early 2000s.

There are some bargains at Dollar Tree if you look closely.I’m gonna spill a little secret here. When I do venison chili for the shop on fridays, I go to the Dollar Tree and get the off brand ones. They are the larger scoop size but they are pretty darn good.
I don't care for Folgers but yeah, if you see a clearance sale at Crest, check the expiration date of the product.I forgot to mention, Crest Edmond had a basket at the back with clearance Folgers Coffee. Country Roast I think. 2 for $4 of a large plastic jug but the best buy date was this month. We do not drink coffee but I did notice it.
Well it is produce from Walmart so IMO it's either rotten...or so green and tough you could knock a bull down with it. (Seriously one of their big weaknesses in groceries, for me, is the lousy produce section.)The WalMart closest to me in OKC has 110 team members that work in the digital delivery department. A buddy of mine was an assistant manger at another store and was recently offered this position. He said one of his biggest challenges is try to get the order pullers to pay more attention to produce selection when pulling orders. One of the largest complaints he receives from customers has to do with rotten, bruised and mangled produce.
I need to make some beer bread, haven't done that in a while.Neither the wife nor I drink beer but we always keep some on hand. It's that bread thing. We sometimes stir in some shredded cheese before we pop it in the oven, too.

That’s what we usually buy, but they’ve been out of stock more in the past few months than in stock.Best price I have seen for heavy cream is Walmart brand in the red carton. The 32oz carton is $3.12.
The one off NW 23rd and between macaurthur and meridian on the north side of the road. It’s always packed, but we’ll worth the trip. I still go there, even when I lived in mustang and even now living in Edmond. If the churros in the panaderia are fresh, get a bag. They’re fantastic.Which Mexican super market? Always went to Grider's on SW 29th with my mother-in-law. Funny how these 'tough' guys in their tricked out pickups blasting out local music would stop immediately when an abuela was crossing the street or needed to get by. Been at least 10 years but back then they respected the older ladies and Marina would just look at them if doing something stupid and they'd look away! Might have been the only way a pigmentally challenged okie could get by in that store without being lynched especially given my very limited Spanish.
I love Super Cao Nguyen. The Chinese supermarket closer to classes is worth the stop too, they have more Chinese stuff, it’s where I buy my bulk sweet rice. I love being able to buy my years worth of rice one time. The prices are great, I feel lots of places charge an arm and a leg like you said. Probably because they sell so little. I enjoy getting lots of ramen and steam buns for lunches, and I used to always go and buy at least one thing I have never tried, just to try it. I still do sometimes. Slowly getting the girlfriend to love Asian food, introduced her to pork tonkatsu the other day and she was a huge fan.super cao nguyen is the cheapest i can get most things next to sam's. some stuff at super cao nguyen is absurdly cheaper than at normie markets. if you are buying anything asian at a normie store, you are paying waaayyyyy too much for waaaaay too little. cao nguyen carries quantities of stuff you can't find anywhere else, most likely because all the asian restaurants buy their stuff from them. so you can get stuff like soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, curry paste, etc for literally pennies on the dollar compared to anywhere else.
and the meat and produce is usually very good.
You’re not only a gentleman, but also a lifesaver. I’ll have to find my local dollar tree.I’m gonna spill a little secret here. When I do venison chili for the shop on fridays, I go to the Dollar Tree and get the off brand ones. They are the larger scoop size but they are pretty darn good.
Look back at what happened to Venezuela over the last 20 odd years! 1,000,000% inflation per year for many years, a Communist Chinese installed PUPPET President installed with a Corrupt, rigged election, they even used the same voting machines, and tactics on us, shortages of all goods, they are forced to use Venezuelan $10,000.00 bills as toilet paper, because it's cheaper and more radially available! Communist China now OPENLY controlling Venezuela's oil, and mining industry, the largest proven crude oil reserves on earth, and huge mineral deposits including gold! Our lap dog news media won't cover this for some reason? Watch 60 minutes Austrellia on ROKU, YouTube, to find out what is actually happening in America! I guess Communist China hasn't bought up controling intrest in Austrellia's news media yet? I submit with our news media, President, VP, and much of Congress, answering to a Communist power, we have already been conquered, and are so brain washed, half the populaion still don't know what happened, and the other half still think THEY WON? GOOD LUCK TO US!Speaking of nuts? Any hot open carry dudes?
I didn't read the whole thread, but Super Bowl weekend coming up will probably deplete stock a good bit...Had to go to Walmart today for some more Ace bandages for the wife and can not believe how empty many of their shelves were, and how high some of the prices have gotten. Many items we buy regularly are just not available. The chip aisle was about 60% empty. Soft drinks 50%. Juice was 40%. It is getting nuts folks.
