A “restricted bullet” is a round or elongated missile with a core of less than 60% lead and that has a fluorocarbon coating, designed to travel at high velocity and capable of penetrating body armor.

I think that was originally written to address the “cop killing” bullet back in the 90’s or early 00’s with Teflon coating - I think they were Black Talon bullets. It was all media hype. It’s the steel core not Teflon that makes for armor piercing.

True, but remember that in the mind of a dem every bullet, especially thoset that are popular with the people IS a COP killing armor piercing round.
Those that say it won't happen, including our legislators, may be right this year, but democrat crepe is a real threat.

So given the definition of body armor in this bill, just about ANY round that come from a rifle?
