Picked up a new (to me) tumbler yesterday afternoon. I need to do a bunch of depriming so I can try it out later this week.

Tried out the mixer today. 1,000 5.56 brass, 5 lbs brass pins,Lemi Shine, Oxy clean, and little cream of tartar along with water and 80 minutes of turning. Looks like I can do less time and more brass, but very satisfied with the first run results.

I have the same mixer.. what did you do to make it work.
Did you just stick a bucket in the middle and turn it on.
I used my mixer many years, but for mixing concrete, finally burned out the on off switch..wired it direct...
those things are almost like a Timex .

Just dumped the bucket of bullets, water, pins, and chemicals in the mixer and turned it on. Seems to turn a little fast but gets the job done. The cream of tartar gives the new shine.
