Yup I remember my parents putting them into a white gravy dish with a lid and going somewhere on South West BLVD in Tulsa. The green stamp store to redeem them. I am surprised I didn't end up dehydrated from licking those things to put them in the book. We probably bought some Lawn darts and something else that would be considered unsafe today.

Funny. I knew what you were talking about just by reading the title of the thread.

EVERYBODY collected S&H green stamps back in the 70s. My parents owned a little store in Claremore when I was a kid, so we gave em out whenever people bought things. And because we were a contributing business, we got lots of stamps. Seems like we bought our very first microwave oven with em.

That was the beginning of the downfall of women...the microwave oven.
