Gas prices, anyone notice...

Leading up to the election the dropped below $3 a gallon and now that the election and inoguration are over they began to rise?

Coincidental or what?

Everyone is too busy and worried about "price gouging" on ARs which by the way is not gouging since an AR is a "want" vs. a "need" to even notice the $0.51 increase in gas prices over the last 3 weeks.

I was thinking it seems to be going back up. Then I saw on the news yesterday it's actually regionalized. Nationwide it's only gone up 4 cents a gallon on average. But here in Oklahoma it's closer to 20 cents a gallon on average.

Gasoline is up 17% in two weeks for no reason and nobody cares. Evil Black Rifles increase 20% due to pending legislation to ban said EBRs and everybody cusses the retailers. Go figure.

I thought it was the stock market..it is near 14,000 now, usually when it goes up the gas prices follow.

Up until 2008, it somewhat followed the market, since 2008, it trends right along with it.

I don't know the reason, I just know my wallet doesn't like it. Why isn't oil being produced here in Oklahoma? I drive down the road everyday and see oil wells that are not pumping. They need to be. If they are dry, pick them up, clean up the mess and move to another site.
