So...what do you guys think happened here? There's lots of theories and with nothing being found it seems anything is possible. Do you think they'll ever find it? Do you think its been found and being kept a secret? It is quite the mystery.

A company has been contracted to try a new search, but the size of the area it was potentially lost in likely means it will never be found. We can't even comprehend the size and depth of the ocean in that area.

The company that is conducting the search is from the US that is using a new side scan that covers a huge swath compared to conventional units. They took on the job as a contingency project. They have a time frame to find it. If they don't find it in that time frame, they don't get paid. If they do find it, they get paid handsomely, and their new technology gets a ton of advertisement.
There has been debris wash ashore, recovered and identified on the west African coast, so they know it's down in the ocean.
That part of the world's oceans hasn't been mapped as well as the Atlantic and Pacific so they are in uncharted territory for the most part.

The plane landed safely in China, the passengers were either utilized for intelligence information or terminated if no value gained was determined. Someone on the plane was the primary target and as such the legitimate manifest will never be released.

Insert conspiracy theory comments here: ______________________

The interesting item that is not talked about, gps. All commercial planes have global gps tracking. As do the phones of all the passengers. They know exactly where this plane is/was at all times.
Boeing has real time monitoring of the engines, so being "out of range" doesn't compute.
I think I saw that covered. In that part of the world, phones are useless. They thought (theorized) the plane went higher than the pressurised cabin would cover and all the people on board died of oxygen loss including the pilots. Possibly by a terrorist or suicidal pilot?
Finally ran out of fuel. That area from what I understood has little to no gps coverage. We have areas in the US with little GPS coverage.
I found one in New Mexico in January of this year.
My phone gps was off by more than 10 miles. When calling to get voice directions, we finally found the place we were looking for, and our phone gps still said we were not there.
Another member of this forum was with me and can verify the story.
