Love how they posted "it is unclear as to what type of gun he used...," that is code for "We hope we can spin it as an "assault weapon." Very sad. I would think most law enforcement officers can quickly identify most firearms, however with most of the news reporting it appears not.

And, it’s being reported he had known mental health issues. THAT is the reoccurring theme with these mass shootings and is what needs to be addressed.
That is where it gets difficult. The “red flag” idea is an attempt, but the way they have been presented, there are too many potential problems.
To heck with that. They want people to keep their guns locked up or face time/fines. Maybe they should make people face the same thing if they don't keep these known nuts locked up.
