Smartphone advice

Okay I need a new cellphone/smartphone and I'm going away from Apple this time.
There are so many choices on the market these days that its making my head spin to try and decide what to go with. I want a droid phone and preferably a Motorola brand. With that said, I have been eye balling the Atrix. I have a buddy who got one and he has good things and bad to say about it. This is the case with any phone but obviously I want to find one with the fewest down falls.

If I were to buy a non-iPhone, it would be the Atrix just mainly due to the hype of its capabilities though, I generally prefer Samsung electronics but thought the Galaxy S phones felt low quality when I handled them a while back...

The Atrix is the best phone out right now on the Android side of things. I've got one and love it. No problems and have had it for a few months now.

Blackberry is not an option, I never have cared for them. Soounds like the Atix is in first place here.

any android - I suggest you go handle a few...read some cnet reviews and see what you think...the best way to know is to do direct research. Without knowing what you want to spend on the phone or it's use I can't make any suggestions

I use a smartphone to its full capacity. I would like to be able to plug into the 42" TV, get a wireless keyboard and mouse and be able to get on OSA that way...lol.

+2 on Atrix...just upgraded from iphone 4. I like the Motorola Atrix alot better!!! HDMI port to plug up to your TV or w/e. (comes with it right outta the box)

I kinda like the optional tactile scanner. (scans your finger instead of entering a code) or you can just draw a pattern on ur screen instead of using a PIN)
